TECHNICAL SCHOOL.

THE PRINCIPAL'S REPORT. The princiual (Mr R. J. Thompson) submitted the following report at the monthly meeting of the Technical Schoolo Board this afternoon:— The day school roll was 296, both the health and the attendance of the students being good. Evening enrolments to date numbered 100 with pupils still enrolling. The plumbing, economic, and mercantile law classes had been dropped this year, while electricity and magnetism and oil engines classes had been again introduced. An invalid cookcry class was being formed. Mr E. C. IX Withell, the newly-appointed Agricultural Instructor, would take up his duties on Wednesday, May 1. An inspection visit was paid to the school by Mr La Trobe (Superintendent of Technical Education), on March 25, 26 and 27.
