DISASTROUS FIRE.
SHOPS IN N.S.W. TOWNSHIP. SMALL BOYS AND CIGARETTES. (United Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) ' MELBOURNE, This Day. Damage estimated at £30,000 was caused by a fire at Korumburra, which destroyed four shops and seriously damaged others before it was checked. For a considerable time all the shops in the block wero endangered, but the fire brigade effected a good save. Two firemen were overcome by fumes from the burning buildings. Small boys smoking cigarettes are believed to have been responsible for the fire.—Australian Press Association.
