INDIA'S FUTURE
INDEPENDENCE DEMANDED COOLIES IN DEMONSTRATION. ____ CONFLICT WITH CONGRESS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) DELHI, December 30. The annual meeting of the Indian National Congress and All Parties Convention has made it clear that these bodies, generally representative Hindu politicians, will accept Dominion status only as a weapon to fight for complete independence. The proceedings to-day were terminated suddenly by 20,000 coolies invading the grounds, waving red flags and posters and demanding the right to hold a meeting. While attempting to dissuade the mob, Congress leaders were mostly knocked off their horses.—United Service.
