PROGRESS VERY SLOW.

ALMOST IMPERCEPTIBLE. -UNSATISFACTORY FEATURES. (Received This Day, 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, December 30. A bulletin was issued as follows : The King passed an uneventful day. For the last 24 hours there has been no change sufficient ( to be marked. This more or less stationary period follows four favourable bulletins, each indicat_imj a lightly upward trend since " the check on Thursday. No authoritative comment has been issued from the Palace but it is learned from a semi-official source that the bulletin is not regarded as satisfactory STcould have been hoped. It may be regarded in two ways in fact. Inere have been no reports of any downward movement. On the contrary.it would appear to indicate that progress is so ZTas to be for the period of 24 hours, practically imperceptible, lnus it may be inferred that progress is even slower than the doctors expected. Dr. Howett and Dr. Woods again administered, rays. Lord Dawson made m, afternoon visit. Sir Stanley Hewitt is still remaining at the Palace. The Queen, the Duke of Gloucester and Prince George had luncheon with the Duke and Duchess of York. The Qaeen also visited the Duchess of Argyle.—Australian Press Association.
