BILLIARDS.
FRED LINDRUM'S CHANCES. LONDON, December 29. Fred Lindrum (Australia) lost ground in his billiard match against Arthur Peall, breaking down on easy strokes owing to his eagerness to score. Later, by deliberate methods, be did better. With one day in hand, and an exceptionally fine display, he should pull the game in his favour. The scores now are: Peall (rec. 1000) 6071, Lindrum 5561.—Australian Press Association.
