COUNTY CLAY BIRD CHAMPION. L. C. ANDERSON WINS TITLE. Dull, overcast conditions prevailed at Methyen on Saturday, w,hen the weekly shoot of the Methven Gun Club was held. There was; a good attendance, including representatives of the Ashburton and Mayfield Clubs. The principal attraction was the Ashburton County Clay . Bird Championship. Shooting conditions were good, with practically no wind, and, some excellent shooting was witnessed. L. 0. Anderson, winner of the championship, was at the top of his form, and in the three matches in which he competed, out of a total of 36 birds, ne dropped only one, while his second barrel was used only once.
