PRISON MUTINY
TROUBLE AT BATHURST.
OVERPOWERING OF A WARDER.
ALLEGATION OF ILL-TREATMENT
(United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It has just been disclosed that a section of the prisoners in Bathurst gaol recently mutinied. They overpowered the warder in charge of them and took possession of the boot shop, the contents of which were badly knocked about. The mutineers, who alleged that one of their number had been ill-treated, were eventually subdued.—Australian Press Association.
