HIGH SCHOOL BURNED.

VALUABLE CURIOS LOST. (Per Press Association.) EKET4.HUNA, April 13. The District High School, consisting of five class rooms and a science room, with their contents, including all the school records, valuable curios and books, the property of the headmaster, was totally destroyed by fire at 8.30 this evening. When discovered the fire was right through the interior of the building, and the fire brigade could do nothing but save the adjoining shelter shed. The origin of the fire is_ a complete mystery, but it is t believed to have originated in the science room. The headmaster left at 5.30 p.m., when everything appeared to be quite safe, and the caretaker was there later. The Secondary School building, some distance away, was intact. The insurances were not available.'
