HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. •To Ashburton picture patrons, Patsy Ruth Miller is well known, and in "What Eveiy Girl Should Know," which will be screened finally at His Majesty's Theatre to-night, she is at her best. There is" plenty cf laughter in the story, which should prove most entertaining. For to-night there will be "Marriage," while on Monday night only "Slide, Kelly, Slide!" will be the attraction. "BEN HUB,"—ON TUESDAY. The great "Ben Hur" will.be screened next week, commencing on Tuesday. The story is so well known that it needs but the scantiest outline here. It is developed from two angles, along two major lines—the revenge of Ben Hur on his one-time friend, but now deadliest enemy, the Roman Messala, and his: long search for his mother and sister, unknown to him, confined in an infected cell in the Tower of Antonia, outcasts of society. His romance with Esther, his brief liaison with_ the Egyptian, his passionate devotion to the cause of the Messiah, are issues of interest and importance, though the sight of the sneering Mess da means more to an audience than a giimp"?e of Esther.
