The autumn meeting of the Oamaru Jockey Club was held at Wingatui today in dull but warm weather, and on a track in excellent order. The totalisator handled £14,112, as compared with £8931 10s for seven races at Oamaru on the first day last year. Concluding results: — Oamaru Cun —1 King Balboa (L. J. Ellis) 1, 3 Heather Lad 2,2 Overhaul 3. Lucy Locket also ran. Won by two lengths, one length between second and third. Time, 2min lOsec. Waikaura Trot Handicap—3 John 'Dee 1,2 Needles 2, 1 Sunfish 3. Needles won by three lengths, but after an inquiry the race was given to John Dee, the'driver of Needles having unduly flourished liis whip. Flyipg Handicap, of 170 sovs—3 Apple Dighton 1, 1 Booster 2, 4 Circulation 3. Won by a neck. Time, 1.15. Grange Handicap—l Camisader 1, 2 Quickform 2, 5 Star Stranger 11. 3. AVon by a short half length. No time was taken.

Landon Trot Handicap—6 Red Shiner 1, 10 Memgal 2, 3. Don Juan 3. Won by a short half-length. Time, 3.1 2-5.

Anniversary Handicap —2 Black Duke 1, 1 Wingatui 2, 3 Taboo 3. The only starters. Won by half a length. Time, 142.
