LATE DEAN REGNAULT.
IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL. (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON,* This Day. The funeral of_JDean Regnault took place to-day. The high esteem in which he was held was reflected in the large attendance at J;he Sacred Heart Bascilica and in the numerous messages of regret at his death from all parts of the Dominion. At a Requiem Mass, Archbishop Redwood delivered an impressive address on the life and work of the late Dean. The celebrant .of the Mass was the Very Rev. Father O’Connoll (Christchurch): and the deacon was the Ven. Archdeacon Holbrook (Auckland), representing Bishop Cleary, who was unable to- attend through illness. All branches of the clergy throughout the Dominion were represented, as also were the various religious orders. The cortege was a very long one. Archbishop (PShea conducted the Ceremony at the graveside at Karou cemetery.
