CONVICTED OF LOW FLYING. TRANS-ATI.AN.TIC FLYER. (A.P.A. and “Sim” Cables.) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 26. A message from Naugatuck (Connecticut) states that Bert Acosta, the famous trans-Atlantic aviator who accompanied Commander Byrd to Paris, was sentenced to five days in gaol when convicted of violating the State law against low flying.
