SPANNING THAMES.
NEW £5,000,000 SCHEME. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, January 12. The Bridge Committee of'the City Corporation has. rejected the Ludgate bridge project, and has recommended the St. Poul's bridge scheme which will cost £5,000,000. The proposed bridge will cross the Thames from St. Paul's Churchyard to Guildford Street.
