FORGERY OF CHEQUE.
MAN ADMITS OFFENCE. (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, January 18. John Walker was charged to-day with forging and uttering a cheque for £9 17s 6d. He explained the lapse by saying lie was penniless. He pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence.
