DEATH OF ACCUSED.
SUDDEN COLLAPSE IN GAOL. ST F WART ISLAND TRAGEDY. (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL. Thist Day. Arthur Vidor Valentine, charged with the murder of Andrew Jose, at Paterson’s Inlet, Stewart Island, died suddenly at the Borstal Institute at 9 O’clock this morning, supposedly from heart failure. When accused appeared liefore the Court v'derdnv his haggard exnression and foir breathing indicated' severe mental tension. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
