IMPROVEMENT CONTINUES. Warm but cloudy weather prevailed in Ashburton yesterday afternoon and this morning. There was a considerable rise in the temperature to-day and although the sky continued heavily clouded the sun shone brightly. t The thermometer yesterday registered maximum and minimum temperatures of 66 and 52 degrees compared with 64 and 54 on Wednesday. The barometer this morning stood at 30.8, a drop of 1 point on yesterday s reading. OFFICIAL FORECAST.
