RUM-RUNNING TREATY.
UNITED STATES AND CANADA. (Per Press Association—Copyright). . OTTAWA, December 28. The Customs has announced that the anti-rum-running treaty between Canada and the United States ■will come into full force, beginning to-day. It provides that all ships clearing from Canada with liquor charges must prove beyond a doubt that the cargoes will be landed at the point of destination.
