The Christchurch Presbytery yesterT day sustained a call from St. John s, Lyttelton,' to the Hev. T. W. Potts, of Timaru. Mr Potts has been a minister in the Timaru Congregational Churchy but was admitted to the General Assembly to the Presbyterian Church.
Dr. H. S. Billcliff (Medical Superintendent of the County Hospital) and Mrs Bilcliff left for the North Island last evening. Dr. W. J. Mullin will act as medical superintendent during the absence of Dr., Billcliff, who is o» annual leave.
