DRUNK IN A CAR.
MOTORIST LOSES HIS LICENSE. (Per Press Association!WELLINGTON, December 27. John Fitzgerald, a labourer, aged 25, pleaded guilty in the Magistrates Court to-day, before Messrs J. D. Sievwright and J. B. Staplos, J.P. s, to bGr ing drunk while in charge of a motorcar in Constable Street on Christmas Sub-Inspector Harvey said that accused had driven his car up Constable Street with a flat tyre at 5.40 a.m. on Christmas Day. He was zig-zagging all over the road. “He had apparently been joy-riding all night, as there | were two girls and another man in the car,” said the Sub-Inspector. Accused was fined £lO, and his license suspended for three months.
