COLLISION AT SEA.
FRENGH BARQUE SINKS. TWENTY-FOUR MEN MISSING. (Per Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, December 27. The steamer Burutu, of Liverpool, has arrived at Portland, and reports a collision with the French, barque Eugene Schneider, which sank. Four of her crew were saved by the Burutu s boats, and 24 are missing and beueved lo The captain of the Burutu states that the Eugene Schneider showed no navigation lighte. Both vessels were interlocked until the Eugene Schneider filled and sank.
