CRICKET FEVER IN ENGLAND
UNPRECEDENTED RUSH. TEST MATCH SEATS SCARCE. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, February 11. The "Daily Express', states that there is every indication that Testmatch fever will prevail in tha coming sumer. The demand for seats is unprecedented. Additional accoirmodation is being provided at the Oval, Lord's, Trentbridge (Nottingham), Old Trafford {Manchester), and Headlingley (Leeds). All grandstand seats have been sold out for the second Test at Lord's. Additional clerical staff has been engaged to deal with the correspondence, and only a few seats are left in other stands, though the tickets will not be sent out •until June 12. Tickets are still available for the Oval match on August 12, but a leading ticket agency, negotiating a deal for a large number of tickets for Lancashire, is refusing any seats, and large sums of money already have been returned.
