AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB. ) AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. The second day of the Auckland Trotting Club's summer meeting was held in good weather. The track was in i excellent order, and there was a, large attendance. The tota'lisator handled £58,874 10s, compared with £63,333 10s for the corresponding day of last year. Concluding results:— Dominion Handicap (in harness), of 450 sovs; two miles.—Rock Hinton 1, Dick Dillon 2, Talent 3. Won by a length. Time, 4.38. Summer Cup (in harness), of 1000 sovs; two miles.—Prince Pointer 1, First Carbine 2, Talaro 3, Acron 4. A very exciting finish, heads separating the first five horses. Jack Potts was last. Time, 4.27 3-5. Epsom Handicap (in harness), of 500 sovs; two Moko 1, Judge Hancock 2, The Tartar and Napland (dead heat) 3. Won by a neck. Time, 4.40 2-5.
