A BARONET'S LOSSES. BANKRUPTCY FOR £250,000. SEIZURES AND NON-PAYMENT. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) ("Sun.") (Received This Day, 12.3 p.m.) LONDON, December 30. Sir Brodrick Hartell, nick-named the "Whisky-running Baronet," has been examined in bankruptcy. His liabilities total £250,000. Bankrupt saiid that in response to an American invitation, he despatched seven shipments, the last of which consisted of 50,000 cases. The vessel's crew mutinied and the cargo was transferred to smaller vessels. Prohibition officers seized 36,000 cases. He had not received payment for the shipment, valued at £250,000.
