THE WEATHER.
WARM, BUT OVERCAST. The recent spell of dry sunny weather was broken late yesterday afternoon, when several showers of rain fell, three 1 points being recorded. The weather today, however, is warm, although the sky is overcast. The barometer has risen to 29.89 inches since yesterday, when it stood at 29.72 inches. The temperatures yesterday ranged between 51 and 77 degrees, compared with 71 and 72 on the previous day. OFFICIAL FORECAST Indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong, and backing to south to east. Weather cloudy; to overcast at times, when misty rain is to be expected. Then there is a prospect of fair weather following. The barometer has a rising tendency.
