When Leo Dryden, the variety singer, broadcast songs from Newcastle-on-Tyne, recently, his son. Wheeler Dryden, in New York, recognised the voice while listening. Father and son have not met for twelve years.
Given up as dead by his friends at Kalamazoo, Michigan, for nearly ten years, John Kemp, a former blacksmith, surprised old acquaintances by
dropping in on them for a visit. Since leaving Kalamazoo in 1912 he has been engaged in business in Kansas and Nebraska. <
