MEETING OF CREDITORS.

KAYE AND CARTER, LTD. TO BE WOUND UP VOLUNTARILY. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 4. A meeting of creditors of Kaye and Carter. Ltd., was held yesterday m the land sale room of the Isational Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd. The meeting, which was presided oyer by Mr J. G. Herdman, was attended by a large number of creditors. 'After the chairman had explained the reason for calling the meeting MiGavin Anderson, of the firm of Kaye and Carter, read a lengthy statement to the meeting. Replying to various creditors, Mr Anderson explained the relationship of Gilbert Anderson and Co Messrs Kaye and Carter, Ltd., and the G. and S. Investment Company, of London. . Mr Morrison and Mr Cunningham, whs had been appointed to act with the liquidators, also explained the position of the company so far as they had been able to ascertain it from the books and accounts placed at thendisposal. After a long discussion and a vote being taken, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily. Messrs Norman Macßeth and W. Machin were appointed liquidators, and the following gentlemen were appointed an Advisory Committee to act with the liquidators :—Messrs Mahng, Herdman, and Cunningham. It was resolved that the question of the remuneration to the liquidators be loft in the hands of the Advisory Committee. , n A vote of thanks was tendered to Mi- Brydon for his courtesy m placing his room at the disposal of creditors, and the meeting terminated.
