DEREGISTRATION NOT OPPOSED. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) MELBOURNE. June 4. The Management Committee of the S'-anK-n's Union derided not to oppose the shipowners' application for the deregistration of the Seamen's Union as :| wis ii"!' advisable to incur further legal expenses. It also decided that if the owners attempted to reduce wages or alter condition ll ! of work, the Union would fight them industrially.
