I DOCKS FROM GERMANY. ALL UTI.LLs"eD~ BUT ONE. (Per Press Association —Copyright.) LONDON, April 30. In the House of Commons, Mr AV. C Bridgeman (First Lord of the Admiralty) pointed out that four large floating docks were handed over to Great Britain by Germany. One of these had been <old, and tivo were being utilised at Singapore. The fourth was at present surplus, and. therefore, in the interests of economy, it would be sold. The question of its use in one of the English dockyards had boon considered, but he was of opinion that the best thing to do was to dispose of it now. EXCHANGE~oTcRUISERS.
BRITISH SHIP FOR AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY, May 1. The cruiser Concord has arrived to • '-ca the cruiser Brisbane, the first RriiMi warship to join the Australian Navy under the exchange arrangement. The cruiser Brisbane has joined the China station.
