COLEE, ESQ., _ who is giving up the Breeding ot Pedigree Cattle, we are instructed to disperse, entirely without reserve, his extensive and carefully-bred Stud ot FRIESIAN CATTLE, comprising 100 Females and 10 Males of the best, butter-fat strains, as follows: 42 Stud Cows 16 Two-year-old Heifers 42 Yearling Heifers and Calves 2 Stud Bulls 2 Yearling Stud Bulls 6 Bull Calves a'he "Colinton" herd is one of the largest in the South Island, and contains representative animals of the best known strains. Semi-official testing has been carried on continuously, and although the herd has been maintained on sheep country, the butter-fat record shows that the cattle have been bred on sound utility lines. The sires used have all been carefully selected, and are from dams which are high testers as well as heavy milkers. In the show ring, successes have been won against the strongest competition at all leading Canterbury Shows, on the West Coast, and at both the Otago and Southland Metropolitan Shows. Every animal, including all the prize-winning stock, inclusive of the Famous South Island Champion Oow and the C.O.M. Cows will be sod entirely without reserve. These cattle will do well wherever taken. This is upheld through the records being made by Princess Johanna Mercedes in the Auckland district. She has already established four N.Z. records, and her average production to date is over 901 b. butter-fat monthly. Her two sisters and seven members of this family are included in this Sale.
