WOOL SUBSTITUTE

CLOTH FGU APPAREL.

ARTEFiCiAL SILK USED.

EXPERTS FAVOUR PROCESS. (Per Press Association—Corn-right.) ("Sun.") (Received This Day. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 3.

The "Daily Mail's" Yorkshire correspondent says the secretary of the Textile Manufacturers' Association experimented with the production of cloth composed of wool and from 10 to 50 per cent, artificial for men's and women's wear. The fibres were mixed before spinning. The silk gives the! cloth a rich appearance, and the durability is excellent. It can be dyed in two contrasting colours. Experts have given the process favourable consideration and capital is available for its development.
