DOMINION REVALUATION. (Special to “Guardian.”) GERALDINE, March 12. • Dealing with the work of the Dominion Revaluation Board, the Minister of Lands (the Hon. A. D. McLeod) stated in bis speech to-night that the applications for revaluation totalled 5347, of which 5019, equal to 93.8 per cent., had been determined,! and 328, equal to (3.2 por cent., were still to he determined.

Reductions had been made in respect of 4798 cases. Reductions in capital value of leasehold's amounted to £1,445,755. and reductions on mortgages under Section 2 amounted to £603,270, a total of £2.049,025. The board had negotiated with private mortgagees, and unsecured creditors for the purpose of having the debts discharged or reduced to afford the soldiers relief.

The total amount owing by the soldiers affected amounted to £105,944, and as the result of the hoard’s negotiations reductions in these debts amounting to £71,676 had been securer!. In addition to the foregoing ■’’b Dominion Board had completed ic'otintions for the purchase of pri-
