BURNED TO DEATH.
TWO ROADMEN SUCCUMB. FIRE DESTROYS WHARFS. (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. The police have been advised by the constable at Seddon that TV illiam Kane and Valentine Mitchell, roadmen, were burned to death in their whares at Blind River. Kane’s body was found among the debris. Mitchell had crawled across the road and was found badly burnt, face down in a ditch.
