CHURCH'S BELATED DISCOVERY

The Ecclesiastical Commissioners made a belated discovery that the Income Tax Act' authorises a rebate on all moneys received for cliaritable purposes and the Commissioners have begun an action in the High Court claiming a refund of' £1,000,000 from the Inland Revenue Department on four years' income.
