FIRE AT TIMARU.
MARIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL. BUILDING COMPLETELY DESTROYED.
(Per Press Association.) TIMARU, This Day. A fire at 3.15 this morning completely gutted the Marist Brothers' School. The flames had a good hold when the outbreak was discovered, and the brigade's efforts could not prevent the destruction of the place. Only four brick walls are now standing. The building was a very old one, and had been used as a school for many years. It was insured. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. _ This is the second school fire here this month.
