NOR'-WEST CONDITIONS. ; The cold south-easterly winds of the past few days gave place to-day, to the warmer north-west conditions, and in a sense the change is welcome, though many people prefer the biting cold to nor'-west enervating wind, however light. The atmosphere was quite warm I all day. The barometer stands at 29.80 ' inches, while the highest temperature during the period of 24 hours ended 9 a.m. this morning was 64 degrees, the lowest being 42 degrees. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. The following forecast was issued:—■ The indications*are for northerly winds, and backing by west to south. Increasing haze and cloudiness for change.' The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising after about 24 hours.
