Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick Field anchored the British Squadron in the outer harbour instead of in Port Adelaide, possibly to check the exuberant hospitality' the city was prepared to offer. The city is en fete. MELBOURNE ON MONDAY. MELBOURNE, March 11. The British squadron arrives here on Monday morning.
