PHILIPPINE CRISIS
A CABINET on STRIKE.
LEGISLATURE SOLID.
A PROBLEM FOR HARDING.
(Per Press Association, Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) MANILA. July 24.
This political crisis became graver when both Houses of Legislature unanimoeisly adopted a resolution approving of the resignation off the Filipino members of the Cabinet, and asking President Harding to recall Governor Wood, who thus far has taken no action to fill the vacant Cabinet positions. Intimations from Washington are that President Harding fully approves of Woods’s action in the crisis.
