THE WOOL INDUSTRY.

The Chamber of Agriculture rejected a recommendation that a levy of sixpence be imposed on each bale of wool sold in Australia, to establish a fund for the protection and development of the industry, but passed a motion for a national conference to devise a method of marketing Australian wool to the best advantage.
