! HOW ADVERTISING HELPS. “The manufacturer who advertises is five times as likely to stay in business as liis non-advertising competitor.” i This is the conclusion of Mr Harold K. Ferguson, engineer and builder, of Cleveland, Ohio, who has boon investigating the question of advertising as it affects business. He found that 84 per cent, of the- business failures were those of firms which did not advertise.
