The Cambridge > University Senate Council recommends the acceptance of the offer of the Ministry of Agriculture and other Government Departments of £55,000 for the establishment of a Research Institute for the study of pathology and animal diseases. FLOATING TRADE EXHIBITION. The directors of the British World Trade Expeditions have purchased the steamer Orontes for a tour of the world as a floating exhibition. The twin-screw steamer Orontes, which was owned by the Orient Steam Navigation Company, was- built at Glasgow in, 1902 by the Fairfield Company, Ltd. ' She has a tonnage, of 9023 tons. Her length is 513 ft and her breadth 58ft. She has been engaged in the Australian trade for the last 20 years.
