LONDON, Dec. 12. The 47th inter’-Varsity Rugby match at Twickenham unexpectedy resulted in the defeat of, Oxford by 21 points to 8 The King and the Duke of York were present at the match, which was clean and fast. . Cambridge won by virtue of thensuperior tackling and magnificent dribbling work by Evans and Hamilton Wicks as right wing three-quarters. 1 Th© Australians and New Zealanders in th© Oxford team all played splendidly, and thoroughly justified their inclusion. Lawton, as full-back, tackled well, and his kicking was sure and long. Aitlcen and Wallace, the respective wing three-quarters, were fast and always took the ball cleanly.
