A beneficiaC rain, The rain which commenced in the early hours of Wednesday morning and continued incessantly but lightly until late last night was not at rill unwelcome. For the 24 hours ended at 5# a.m. to-day 65 points of rain had fallen. For the previous similar period 1J points was recorded, making a total of 78 points. This morning broke fine, but overcast.
