WAKANUI ROAD BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING HELD. The monthly meting of the Wakanui Road Board was held yesterday. Present: Messrs F. Frampton (chair man), R. W. McElhinney, A. Hight, and J. Watson. The reports ,on works showed that the day men were engaged on River road and Wakanui road.' As soon as the improvements at present being carried out are completed the, work of maintenance will be discontinued for the season. It was resolved to call tenders this month for the sole right to cut cocksfoot in the Wakanui Road Board district. The following transfer was approved4/70/41, lot 11, containing 100 acrfes, and 170 acres from the estate of D. Fitzgerald to David McCosker and Hugh McCosker respectively. Accounts amounting to £BB 14s were passed for payment.
