' IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908,” Section 108, and “The Rating Act, 1908,” Sections 48 to 70, inclusive, and Amendments thereto, that it is the intention of the South Rakaia Road Board, at its next Ordinary Meeting, to be held on the 6th day of July, 1922, to MAKE and i LEVY a GENERAL RATE of THREE-EIGHTHS of a PENNY in the POUND STERLING upon the Rateable Value of all Rateable Property in the South Rakaia Road District, for the period) commencing on the Ist day of April, 1922, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1923, such Rate to become due and payable in ONE SUM at the Road Board Office, South Rakaia, on the 22nd day of July, 1922.
