HOTELS BURGLED.
ACTIVITIES IN MELBOURNE. (Per Press Association, Copyright.) (Received March 6, 8.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Burglars stunned and bound and gagged Killian, the night-porter at the Grand Hotel. They then rifled a safe of about £7OO, including £550 lodged for safe-keeping by Edith Drayson, the actress. They then visited the White Hart Hotel adjoining, but were surprised and decamped before they made a haul. THEFT FROM RAILWAY STATION. DUNEDIN, This Day. Early on Sunday morning the Milton railway station was burgled, and over £2O was removed from the safe, on which dynamite was used. Admission to office had been gained by breaking the window.
