FURTHER LIST OF AWARDS. Further results at the Rakaia Horticultural Society’s show on Thursday are as follow: Most points in vegetables—Miss K. Taylor 1, A. Haslett 2. Most points in flowers —Miss Tucker 1, Mrs W. Palnfer 2. Mr J. McCoy had a fine exhibition of selected . field roots. Best buttonhole -Alice Thompson 1, Hilda. Shannon 2 Best bouquet—Rita Johnston 1, Lee Newman 2. The awards credited to Mrs Muckle should have read Miss Muckle. In the evening Mr B. McNamara auctioned many of the exhibits for the benefit of the society’s funds. The total takings for the day were about £l7.
