PERSONAL.
The Hon. W. Nosworthy, Minister Tor Agriculture, was a visitor to Ashburton to-day. The funeral of the late Mr T. J. Grimsby, who was one of the Wairuna eoldier settlers, and who died in the Ashburton Hospital on Thursday, took place at the Ashburton Cemetery this afternoon. In addition to a number of returned soldiers, the Ist Canterbury Mounted Rifles Band, under Lieutenant W. H. Osborne, attended to pay tlieir last respects to the' memory of n comrade.
