COMPETITIONS ON SATURDAY.

FAIRFIELD" DEFEATS RAKAIA

The County cricket competitions were continued on Saturday. Fairfield met and defeated Rakaia, at Rakaia, by 27 runs. Stayt and Baynes shared the bowling honours for Rakaia and HaU and J. Willis for Fairfield. The> only bats to reach double figures were J. Willis, W. Drennan, and J. Cromie.
