AMERICA'S UNKNOWN HERO.
Mrs McUdden, mother of an aviator who won the Victoria Cross, has sailed for America to place the British Women's tribute on the unknown American warrior's grave m Washington ><hi Armistice Day. She has taken six trucks of growing flowers — English roses, Scottish heather, Welsh forget-me-nots, violets, Irish shamrock, and red and white flowefff representing the Dominions; and these, with Canadian maple leaves, will be made up m America m the form of a huge crown.
