SWIFT RETRIBUTION.

■ ■ ■ ♦ FOLLOWS ACT OF SACRILEGE. (Per Press Association, Copyright) LONDON, October 28. The Geneva correspondent of the "Daily Express" says a strange case sf sacrilege, followed by tragic Nemesis, occurred at Waldshut, on the Swiss and German frontier. Groups of young workmen employed at an electric factory pulled down a wooden statue of Christ from a cross on the roadway and replaced it head downwards, amid blasphemous shouts. Two days later the ringleader fell into the machinery of the factory, head foremost, and was killed. His comrades, who were panic-stricken, confessed to the act of sacrilege, and were arrested.
